- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. This requirement is for an initial procurement of 4,000 MK 432 Mod 0 ET Fuzes. There will be two options. Option one is for 4,000 units and option two is for 3,000 units. If all the options are exercised, the total quantity will be 11,000 units. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis with L-3 Communications, BT Fuze Products Division, 101 North Queen Street, Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17603-3580 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. First article units will be required. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database and must be certified under the Joint Certification Program in order to receive the technical package. Other requests to receive the data shall be referred to Commander, Code 402, NSWC Crane, Crane, Indiana 47522-5001. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination. Inspection will be at both the contractor?s facility and a Governme! nt facility. Acceptance shall be at destination. The solicitation will be available on or about 27 May 2005 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm. ?No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed?. Interested sources must download from the www site listed and must contact Ms. Cindy Dant, Code 0562NR, at telephone 812-854-2792, Fax 812-854-3373 or e-mail: cindy.dant@navy.mil for a copy of the cd, which contains the technical data.
