- Solicitation Number W81XWH-05-T-0446 will be issued on or about 4 May 2005 and proposals will be due on or about 12 May 2005 @ 3:30 PM EST. The Governments requirement is to acquire nonpersonal service to provide technical and scientific consultant to the U.S. Army Dental and Trauma Research Detaqchment for the development of ballistic resistant microlayered polymeric materials for face-shield protection. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541614 with a size standard of $6,000,000.00 million in average annual receipts. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Proposals will be evaluated on a Commercial Firm Fixed Price and any resulting contract will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Award to include a one-year base period and two one-year option periods.
