- Description
- The United States Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command, C-E LCMC, intends to procure Overhaul and Repair Services in support of the AN/ARC-199 and their associated Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). The associated LRUs are: NSN 5821-01-172-2879, Control; NSN 5821-01-172-2880, Amplifier; NSN 5821-01-172-2924, Rec/Trans. The proposed Overhaul and Repair Services are to be acquired from Honeywell International, Inc. This will be a sole-source acquisition IAW FAR 6.302-1(a)(1) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) Only One Responsible Source because the Government does not possess the necessary hardware/software specifications or documentation to enable another contractor to repair the AN/ARC-199. The repair data and embedded software are prop rietary to Honeywell International Inc. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The Solicitation Number is W15P7T-05-R-F407. The Solicitation will be released on or about May 12, 2005.
