- ACA, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Lewis, Washington is soliciting proposals for a contractor to provide instruction for a cabinet making course at the Regional Correctional Facility at Fort Lewis, WA. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed- price contract. The period of performance is anticipated to be 01 August 2005 through 31 July 2006, plus four one-year option periods. The procurement is unrestricted. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is W911S8-05-R-0030. The applicable NAICS code is 611210 and the small business size standard is $6 million. TELEPHONIC REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. All requests for the solicitation must be emailed to mark.a.erickson@lewis.army.mil , along with the requesting vendors Dun & Bradst reet number and CAGE Code. When issued, the solicitation will be available only by downloading from our web site at http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc under Solicitations, after the estimated date of release. The estimated issue date is 10 May 2005 and the anti cipated closing date is 10 June 2005. After release of the solicitation a preproposal conference is tentatively scheduled for 26 May 2005 at 10:00:00 AM (PDT). Interested firms should check solicitation when it is released for correct date and time. Pros pective offerors are urged to attend and submit any questions they may have in advance in writing to Mark Erickson at mark.a.erickson@lewis.army.mil . Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered.
