- Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and engineering services to perform the following work in the Laundry and the adjacent three Laundry mechanical rooms- boiler, chemical feed and air compressor in T-207 at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal as described in the Statement Of Work. The proposals will be solicited on a firm-fixed price lump sum basis with Bid Options. North American Industry Classification System assigned to this acquisition is 238220. This procurement is RESTRICTED to Mainland Portugal and its territories in accordance with the Bilateral Agreement between Portugal and the United States dated 1995. All responsible sources meeting the criteria set forth in the Request for Proposal (RFP) may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Government.The RFP package will be available for downloading and viewing at Electronic Posting System (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov on or about 11 May 05. A site visit will be held at Lajes Field at a date to be determined. The RFP package will be available on the Internet only. There will be no hard copies of this solicitation issued. The solicitation, plans, specifications, or drawings will not be provided in a printed-paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Governments best interest. All proposals and other normal documents required for the proposal submittal, including amendments to the proposal submittal, shall be in paper medium. All contractors interested in receiving notification of updates/amendments to the solicitation posed on the EPS are urged to enroll on the web site mailing list for this acquisition. Those contractors enrolled will be notified automatically of any changes made to the RFP through their e-mail addresses. No telephone requests will be accepted. All interested parties are required to be registered in CCR (Central Contractor Registration) www.ccr.gov, prior to award.
