- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number for this procurement is FA4830-05-Q-0052 and is issued as Request for Quotation.This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-03, Defense Acquisition Circular (DAC) 91-13 correction and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2005-0209. The solicitation is 100 % small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System is 423690. The small business size is 500 employees. The BID SCHEDULE shall be for: LINE ITEM 0001: PUSH TO TALK; PN: INV/FP-PR; LOWER CORDSET WITH CUSTOM U94 INPUT MOD; SOCKET FOR HAND PTT TERMINATED PRC 6PIN; wedge shaped box - 1? x 2? x 0.75?; low profile press to talk (PTT) button on the front side and velcro -pin for mounting on the backside; button for detent confirmation that radio has been keyed; two miniplug sockets on top - plug the Invisio headset into one and an optional finger or ring PTT - sniper switch into the other; lower cordset will accommodate optional fingertip or ring PTTs; smaller and more discrete; suitable for surveillance applications; cable is terminated for your radio; MAKE WITH 8 INCHES OF CABLE BETWEEN CONNECTORS or Equal. Quantity 100 EA. All items quoted must be the exact items listed OR EQUAL. The contracting officer will determine if the quoted products are suitable substitutions making them qualify as an OR EQUAL product.
