Description

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for Applied Biosystems (ABI) 3900 Nucleic Acid Synthesizer Reagents. This is a Sole Source with Applied Biosystems IAW FAR 6.302-1. Applied Biosystems is the only source capable of fulfilling the government?s requirement. ABI is the only source for the ABI 3900, an automated synthesizer capable of rapidly producing 48 oligonucleotides simultaneously, including the use of a variety of loading concentrations and the capability of adding up to 6 modified bases. For quality control purposes and establishment of production parameters, ABI reagents need to be utilized. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item/service utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 2869 with a business size of 1000 employees and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 325188. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that Applied Biosystems is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
