- This acquisition is a firm fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Requirements contract with a 3-year (One-year basic and 2-one year option periods) for repair of the Fuel Flow Indicator applicable to the C-5 aircraft. The Best Estimated Quantity for the basic year is 36 EA, Option I BEQ: 36 EA and Option II BEQ: 36 EA. NSN: 6620-01-465-5120UC, P/N: 510000-002. DIM: 9.5 inches high x 2.5 inches wide x 6 inches deep. Weight 4lbs. MATL: Aluminum, Electronic Components with embedded software/Liquid Crystal Glass. Noun: Fuel Flow Indicator. FUNC: To take inputs from the aircraft engine Fuel Flow Transmitter and to display rate of fuel flow to flight engineer and pilots. This is a form/fit/function replacement for the old indicator p/n 8DJ201LWD2. DEL: 30 days after receipt of repairable assets. This requirement is sole source to L-3 Communications Display Systems (Cage: 63516), 1355 Bluegrass Lakes Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 3004-7700. Authority: 10.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 12 May 05 with an approximate response date of 13 June 05.
