- Description
- Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to repair or replace the existing water main betweeen Eglin AFB site A-15 and site A-17 on Santa Rosa Island. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237110 and size standard $28.5M. The acquisition is restricted as a COMPETITIVE HUB-ZONE SET-ASIDE. This is a Performance Price Trade Off acquisition and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award the contract to other than the lowest proposed price. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency. This project includes, but not limited to, replacing sections of the 10? PVC water main with new pipe and placing fill over existing piping to provide the necessary cover on the pipe. The installation will include all materials and labor for a complete working system. Performance period is 90 calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $100,000 and 250,000. Funds are not currently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under this contract. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Governments Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov) on or about 11 May 2005. The ESTIMATED PROPOSAL DUE DATE is 10 June 2005. No response to this notice is necessary and no Source List will be maintained. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS Number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
