Description

Sealed bid to provide all labor and materials for the following: Currently there are 2 sets of shower rooms and toilet rooms. The demolition and remodel of each bay will be phased. The north bay will be completed during the two weeks the students will be on summer break (June 30, 2005 thru July 15, 2005). The operator and the contractor will conduct a substantial completion prior to starting the demolition of the south bay. The south bay construction will be during the hours of 8:00 am to 3:30 pm and to be completed by August 10, 2005. The students will need to have at the minimum 1 working restroom and set of showers. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held at 0900hrs, Thursday, May 12, 2005 in building 11-215, Facility Maintenance, of Gary Job Corps Center. The bid opening will be held in the same building at 1400hrs, Thursday, May 26, 2005. Project costs are estimated at less than $25,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid for consideration.
