- Description
- The work will consist of furnishing and installing rock riprap in Woodward County, Oklahoma. Mobilization, 1 LS; 18 inch rock riprap installed, 5,222 tons; 24 inch rock rip rap installed, 2,000 tons; rip rap bedding installed, 1,390 tons; and crushed rock delivered, 100 tons. All quantities are estimates. Performance time is 45 calendar days. Estimated price range is between $250,000 - $500,000. This procurement is set aside 100 percent for small business. The North American Industry Classification Code is 237990. Bid packets will be available on www.fedbizopps.gov on May 13, 2005. There is a site showing scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on May 24, 2005. The site show will begin at the County Commissioner?s barn, located on the North side of Highway 412, East of Moreland, OK. Bids may be mailed to USDA NRCS, 100 USDA, Suite 206, Stillwater, OK 74074, or hand-carried to USDA NRCS, 100 USDA, Suite 213, Stillwater, OK 74074. BIDS MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE 1:00 P.M. ON JUNE 13, 2005. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. All prospective offerors are responsible for visiting the web page frequently and obtain the solicitation and any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation. No telephone calls or written requests for this solicitation package will be accepted. Effective immediately, all contractors are required to be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to being awarded a contract by NRCS. The CCR database is the primary Government repository for contractor information required to conduct business with the Federal Government. Please note NRCS cannot award a contract to a firm not registered in CCR. There are 2 steps to register: (1) Obtain a DUNS number by calling Dun and Bradstreet at 1-866-705-7511. (2) Register in CCR.
