Description
Solicitation is for a Chair, Aviator?s Ready Room. Manufactured I/A/W Drawing NR DD-80064-2217424, DD80064-805-1642368, 80064-S3200-860055 and Spec NR MIL-PRF-32038,MIL-PRF-32038 SUPP 1A, and Drawing NR TL-80064-804-1646563, and Drawing NR TL-80064-805-1648212. NSN 2090-00-368-4787. First Article Test is required. The First Article Test requires 1 unit to be tested, in 60 days. Waived source for First Article Test is (83002) Turnbull. Basic quantity is 145 each plus 1 TE First Article Test. Of the basic quantity of 145 50 are going to Tracy CA, and 95 are going to New Cumberland PA. Required delivery for the basic quantity is 120 days if waived for First Article Test, and 210 days if First Article Testing is required. An option quantity of 145 is included and may or may not be exercised. The solicitation opens on 11 May 2005 and closes at 1:00PM on 13 June 2005. Solicitation will be available in FedBizOps on its' issue date of 11 May 2005. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Solicitation is set aside 100% for small business. Numbered notes 1, 8, 26 apply. Notice to All Contractors: In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item 1, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement will be appearing in solicitations in the near future. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov . Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instructions and requirements in solicitations and contract awards.
