Description

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) intends to issue a purchase order to upgrade existing Motorola ASTRO Saber portable radios. A Requirements contract is contemplated for a base year and one option year. This is an anticipated sole source requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capacity to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. All quotations received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (31-AUG-2004).
