- Arcata Associates, Inc. (Arcata/UNITeS) performing under Prime Contract NNM04AA02C, intends to acquire on an open and competitive basis, Disaster Recovery (DR) Services consisting of Monthly Subscription/Test Services and Hot Site Disaster Recovery Services covering both mainframe and mid-range computing systems supporting both the NASA Data Center (NDC) and the Integrated Financial Management (IFM) Program at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). It is intended under this pending solicitation to acquire the required services under a multi-year agreement consisting of a 12 month base period (beginning 1 July 2005) with three (3) option periods ending 31 December 2008. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Arcata/UNITeS intends to acquire commercial goods and services using FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, as proposals are being requested per the attached Cover Letter, Request for Proposal (RFP), and Statement of Work (SOW) which are located in the attached WORD 9.0 files. Interested firms have until the close of business 4:00 PM, 18 May 2005 to submit their proposals to the identified point of contact. Business and/or Technical questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than 29 Aprl 2005. It is the offeror's responsibilities to monitor this Internet site for the release of any amendments and/or clarifying questions and answers.
