- The Contracts Department of Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego (FISCSD) intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, ?Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements?, with Harris Corporation, RF Communications Division, 1680 University Avenue, Rochester, NY. The Contractor shall provide 400-watt power amplifiers for Harris model AN/SPS-150(C) tactical radios. FISCSD intends to award a firm fixed price type contract for two each Harris amplifiers model RF-5834H-PA001. This action is being issued utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items/services under FAR Part 12. This is not a request for quote or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a compe! titive procurement. Request for copies of a solicitation will not be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Point of contact is Jean L.
