Description
The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract on a sole source basis to Chemical Safety Software, 5901 Christie Ave., Suite 502, Emeryville, CA 94608-8195 for annual customer support for Environmental Management System version 3.1.0123 software purchased in 2000 from Chemical Safety Software for NAVFAC MIDLANT, Norfolk, VA. The software is used for tracking hazardous waste throughout the region, and annual support consists of telephone support, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise in the program including installation or code-related. The support also covers regulatory table updates, changes made by DOT, updates and upgrade to the program software, which includes ?bug? fixes or issues that have been identified and resolved, program improvements consisting of better reporting capabilities, better barcode scanning software, etc. The RFQ will be available on or about 21 April 2005 by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil or ! http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 541511. The size standard is $21 million. The FSC Code is 7030. The RFQ solicitation and any subsequent amendments will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a! contractor ineligible for award.
