- Description
- Furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies and materials (and utilizing Government-furnished materials), to construct five livestock pipelines on Bureau of Land Management property. The Work Data Sheet lists the project location and the approximate quantities. Within this requirement, the government will be including 2 (two) Bid Schedules. Bid Schedule A will be for (1)--TRENCHING (common), backfilling, and compacting approximately 28,380 linear feet; (2)--Trenching (rock) backfilling and compacting approximately 3,600 linear feet; (3)-- Installing approximately 27,780 linear feet of Class 160 PVC HDPE, SDR-11 1-1/2 inch pipe; (4)-- Installing approximately 4,200 linear feet of PVC Class 200 or HDPE, SDR-9 1-1/2 inch pipe, (5)-- 10 (ten) 1 inch curbstop assemblies; (6)--Eleven (11) air relief valve assemblies; (7)--Nine (9) hydrant assemblies; and (8)-- One (1) well adaption assembly. Schedule B will be for(1)-- PLOWING (common), backfilling, and compacting approximately 31,380 linear feet; (2)-- plowing (rock) backfilling and compacting approximately 600 linear feet; (3)-- Installing approximately 27,780 linear feet of HDPE SDR-11 1-1/2 inch pipe; (4)-- Installing approximately 4,200 linear feet of HDPE SDR-9 1-1/2 inch pipe, (5)-- 10 (ten) 1 inch curbstop assemblies; (6)-- Eleven (11) air relief valve assemblies; (7)--Nine (9) hydrant assemblies; and (8)-- One (1) well adaption assembly. The contractor will have 63 days to complete the project after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The cost estimate for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Awards over $25,000 will require payment protection in the form of Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond to be received within 15 days of notification of award. The proposed award is 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. The solicitation will be availabe on May 4, 2005. No hard copies will be sent.
