- The Government intends to award a best value Custodial Contract for work to be performed at the W G Huxtable Pumping Plant in Marianna, Arkansas. The best value technique to be utilized in evaluations will be performance price tradeoff. The scope o f work requires the contractor provide all management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that custodial services are performed at W.G. Huxtable Pumping Plant, Marianna, Arkansas. Work hours shall be between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, Monday throug h Friday, excluding national holidays. Weekend work could be anytime, typically between November and June. The Request for Proposal is for a firm-fixed priced requirements contract under solicitation W912EQ-05-Q-0017. The basic contract is estimated to commence on 1 May 2005 through 30 April 2006 with four (4) one year option performance periods. A site visit is recommended. This action is 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 561720. A formal solicitation will be issued by 22 April 2005 with a cl osing date of 27 April 2005. Quotes may be submitted in hard copy or electronically, either through regular mail, email, or by facsimile. Regardless of method of delivery, it is the offerors responsibility to ensure receipt of the quotes by the time and date stated herein. All responses must be received by 27 April 2005 no later than 2:00 pm (CST) at 167 N. Main Street B202, Memphis, TN 38103.
