- INDUSTRY DAY: Sponsored by the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center, LSS and LGK, Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs, CO will host an Industry Day forum on the CLASS acquisition. This event is scheduled for 11 May at the Arnold Room at the Centralized Integrated Support Facility (CISF), Peterson AFB. The address is: 1050 E. Stewart Av. Peterson AFB CO 80914. The purpose of this Industry Day is to provide interested parties and potential offerors an opportunity to receive information on the CLASS acquisition and provide feedback. Specifically, the forum will focus on presenting the Air Force's vision for the procurement. The classification for the briefing is "UNCLASSIFIED." Attendance will be limited to five (5) personnel per company/team. All notifications of attendance, list of names attending and phone numbers, and any questions regarding this announcement must be made, by e-mail, by May 6, 2005 to Capt Dale VanDyke at Dale.VanDyke@cisf.af.mil. A courtesy copy of the e-mail should also be sent to Capt Eli Bremer at Eli.Bremer@cisf.af.mil. Interested parties, who believe they have the capability of performing as prime contractors in support of this effort, are invited to submit a statement of technical capabilities, which includes the following information: Personnel/Size Standard-(1) Company name, mailing address, points of contact and telephone numbers, (2) Business size classification, Large, Small, or Other. Experience-(1) Specific work previously performed or being performed relevant to the specific task areas of this effort. Small Business companies with the capability to perform this requirement are encouraged to participate. The small business size standard for this requirement is NAICS 541710 and 1000 Employees. Interested offerors must submit Statement of Capabilities (SOC), which clearly illustrate expertise in the following areas which include but are not limited to (1) Weapon Systems Logistics Support including (a) Providing comprehensive weapon systems sustainment support to include but not limited to the following key elements: manpower, personnel, maintenance, supportability, systems engineering, data management, supply, transportation, configuration management, and training. (b) Support of the key sustainment elements, providing support to include but not limited to comprehensive program management, equipment specialist, technical order management agency (TOMA), system security and accreditation, and test and evaluation. (2) Information and Communication Systems including providing information and communication systems management, acquisition, development, integration, operations, maintenance, security and accreditation of information technology (IT) resources. This support includes but is not limited to network operations, maintenance, planning, helpdesk operations, video-teleconferencing, telephone infrastructure support, conference room management, programming and web base support, e-mail administration, and standard integrated desktop training. (3) Security Support including providing comprehensive security support to include but not limited to program security, physical security, personnel security, facility security, and sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) in accordance with government instructions, regulations, policies, and guidelines. (4) Administrative Support including providing administrative support to include but not limited to: office administration; acquisition; financial management; cost/price analysis; budgeting; analysis, estimating, and modeling; database/library/file management; program planning and execution; and human resources. And (5) Facilities Support including providing facility support to include but not limited to facilities engineering, maintenance, building management support including drawings, cleaning, and shipping/receiving. In addition, this notice serves to provide the public with notice that the Statement of Objectives (SOO) has been posted to the CLASS webpage available at https://www.cisf.af.mil/CLASS/. E-mail your SOC statements to Captain VanDyke no later than May 9, 2005, which should be limited to twenty-five (25) pages excluding resumes. If you are interested only in subcontracting opportunities, please indicate clearly in your submission. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only.
