- This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB, California, is soliciting offers to install additional video cameras at the Child Development Center. In addition, there will be a need to modify/move existing equipment for better coverage. The solicitation number is F4D3F85075A100 and will be issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation will be awarded as one line item and one each of unit measurement, using contract line item number 0001. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-02 and DFARS Change Notice 20040625. The NAICS Code is 561621 and the SIC code is 7382. The Size Standard is $10.5M. This acquisition is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor is to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, transportation and supervision necessary to provide: installation of 13 additional cameras to view the blind spots in rooms. Replace 30 American Dynamics Auto Iris vari-focal camera lenses for a clearer and wider view of the rooms and relocate five existing cameras in classrooms and two existing cameras outdoors. Install cameras covering the following areas: one camera covering the lobby, one covering the front gate, two covering the infant playground, two covering the area in front of Rooms 7 and 8, three covering the young toddler playground, two covering blind spots to the preschool playground, two covering the rear of Building 4, two covering the sides of Building 4. In addition, connect the new 28 cameras to the existing Vicon switcher and DVR. Install two digital video recorders, 16-channel (Vicon or compatible equivalent). Install one camera switcher, 64-channel (Vicon or compatible equivalent). Integrate the new and existing camera system as one system. Mount cameras on designated buildings and retrofit system to make camera base unit. Work will include all EMT conduits, interfacing wiring, and camera power supplies. Contractor shall provide an approved schedule prior to the start of the project. Contractor shall keep the job site clean and take all precautionary safety measures required associated with the statement of work. Contractor shall provide a minimum of two hours user training when the project is turned over. Contractor shall provide one-year labor and new equipment warranty starting the day the project turns over. A site visit is scheduled for 26 April 2005 at 1:30 p.m. local time. Due to the nature of this project, it is highly encouraged that all offerors attend the site visit.
