- Contractor shall quote on the design, build, and install of three (3) each C-130 Blade Storage Machines. The afore mentioned machines shall be installed in the C-130 propeller shop in building 140 on Robins AFB, Georgia 31098. The buyer is TSgt Antwan Royster. The e-mail address for buyer is: antwan.royster@robins.af.mil Contact buyer for technical data/statement of work. All technical inquires will be done via e-mail. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.7, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a proposal is requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) 5053A100 Blade Storage Machine. Written procedures will be used for this combined synopsis/solicitation. The quotes shall contain Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Cage Code Number, Size of Business pursuant to Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 4920 (500 employees). The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price. The approximate issue date is 21 April 2005 with the response closeout date of 12 May 2005(15 Business days). Tentative award is 19 May 2005. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07, NAICS is 333999 and small business size is 500 employees. Assets shall be delivered FOB Destination. The following incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-18, effective 12 Jan 2004 and FAC 2001-19, effective 01 Jan 2004 and Class Deviation 2003.003 are applicable to this combined synopsis/solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; 52.212-3 ? Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (full text). The rule is effective January 1, 2005. This final rule requires offerors to provide representations and certifications electronically via the BPN website; to update the representations and certifications as necessary, but at least annually, to keep them current, accurate and complete.
