Description

Under the authority of FAR Part 12, VA Medical Center Mike O'Callaghan Federal Hospital (MOFH) located at North Las Vegas, NV has a commercial requirement for a Mobile Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit including staff for 5 days per week, 8 hours per day scanning. Unit is expected to be located at the MOFH. The necessary pad and utilities are already present. Possible other location may be considered. The purpose is to establish an agreement of service, for the provision of a Mobile MRI unit and technical staff to operate the unit in the completion of a full range of MRI Studies for patient beneficiaries of the VA SNHS as requested by authorized VA SNHS providers. The completed exams will be uploaded to the VA SNHS PACS network for professional interpretation by VA staff and/or contract Radiologists. Requirements are: Contractor will provide a selft contained turnkey "state of the art" current model, shor-bore 1.5 Tesla MRI with all appropriate coils and software packages in a mobile configuration complet with technical staff and full service warranty and maintenance coverage. Initial lease time is for 40 hourper week availability (8hr./day, 5 day/wk). VA would make the unit available to the Contractor for unused hours i.e weekends and federal holidays for other users.
