Description
This combined synposis/soliciation is cancelled in it's entirety **************************************************************** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F2N33S5097A100. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03 and DFARS Change Notice 20050323 Edition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code to this acquisition is 423490. This combined synopsis/solicitation is unrestricted. Items required are as follows: Manufacturer Tychem, 1. Tychem TK Level A Hazardous Material Response suit with front entry, gas-tight zipper with storm flap, double taped seams, three layer composite face shield, silver shield internal gloves with butyl outer gloves, two exhalation valves, internal adjustable belt and sock boots with splash shields. Size: XL Number: 4BB-54406 (5ea). 2. Tychem TK Level A Hazardous Material Response suit with front entry, gas-tight zipper with storm flap, double taped seams, three layer composite face shield, silver shield internal gloves with butyl outer gloves, two exhalation valves, internal adjustable belt and sock boots with splash shields. Size: XXL Part Number: 4BB-54406 (3ea). If it is an equal item the Offeror should submit specifications. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall provide a firm fixed-price for above items. Offerors unable to meet the target delivery date of 30 calendar days after contract award must provide projected delivery date. Successful contractor must meet all the responsibility requirements of Subpart 9.1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). A written notice of award or acceptance of offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Evaluation will be made based on the lowest price offer, with the proposed delivery date closest to our target delivery date. Award will be based on lowest price submitted and responsiveness to the terms and conditions of the requirements.
