- Description
- 38th RESCUE SQUADRON SUPPORT FUNCTIONS. Provide all management, materials, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to provide personnel support functions for the 38th Rescue Squadron at Moody AFB, GA. Services include, but are not limited to: (1) MOBILITY DEPLOYMENT MANAGER will ensure squadron personnel meet world-wide mobility training and records requirements to include individual security clearances, Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC) training, Ability To Survive and Operate (ATSO), weapons qualifications, immunizations, force protection, information assurance, and provide quarterly status reports to the squadron commander; (2) UNIT EDUCATION AND TRAINING MANAGER will manage the unit’s education and training program, to include maintaining the Career Field Education & Training Plans (CFETP), requesting formal course quotas, and developing a quarterly report of future/current course attendance, withdrawals, completions, and costs; (3) SUPPLY MANAGER shall manage the unit’s supply program and ensuring the program meet’s the needs of the individual requirements. Duties will include researching and inventory of various individual/team personnel recovery equipment, maintaining an individual equipment issue computer database, providing reports on equipment status and on-going orders. Will also issue and receive individual/team equipment; (4) VEHICLE MANAGER will manage the unit’s vehicle program to include GSA contract vehicles, military vehicles, all-terrain vehicles (ATV), and low-speed vehicles (LSV). Vehicle manager will also be the focal point for issue and return of vehicles and will develop a Vehicle Accountability Database or spreadsheet to track vehicle utilization. The solicitation number for this acquisition is FA4830-05-R-0004 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System is 561210. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 8744 and the small business size standard is $30,000,000.00. The contract will be for a basic period upon award through 30 Sep 05 with four one-year options; the total contract period will not exceed five (5) years. This solicitation is a competitive RFP and award will be based on commercial procedures found in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. Award will be made using Price-Performance Tradeoff in accordance with FAR Part 15. The evaluation factors will be past performance and price. The solicitation will be issued on or about 01 Mar 05 and will be available to view and download on the EPS website (www.eps.gov). PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE MAILED.
