The conference will be held November 1-3, 2005 in Atlanta, GA. The Government Procurement Conference of the Americas will include sessions on e-Procurement, small business, procurement training and professional development, trade agreements and their impact, opportunities in specific business sectors, and competition and transparency. You will hear from experts in their field. You will also be able to arrange one-on-one meetings with representatives of the respective Governments and large and small businesses to explore prime and subcontract procurement opportunities. You will also have the opportunity to review information at Government and industry exhibit booths. The conference will also focus on best practices and emphasize the development of better methods and standards for acquiring goods and services. The conference is being sponsored by the US.
