Description: Fire Island National Seashore, Demolition of Building on Sailor's Haven. Solicitation Number N1770050697. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. Work includes, but is not limited to: The work of this contract consists of the demolition and removal from the site of a two-story cement block Sailors Haven Housing unit (6,780 square feet), an adjacent wood frame utility building, attached boardwalk structures, and restoration of the site to its natural state. All work will be performed under a single contract. LOCATION: Sailors Haven is located on Fire Island; all access to the site is by water transportation The Sailor's Haven area will be closed to the public during demolition. However, contractor shall maintain access for National Park Service administrative and other official business throughout the project. All work will be performed under a single contract. The NAICS code for this project is 238910 and the small business size standard is $12.0 million. Contract duration is 120 days following notice to proceed. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women-owned business enterprises. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation, Section L, clause 52.236-27 Alt 1, Site Visit (Construction). Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of solicitation. Search by referencing the solicitation number (above), Department of the Interior, National Park Service. Individual requests for solicitation packages will NOT be accepted. Responses from Bidders will be accepted at the address listed in Block 8 of the solicitation in hard copy with the manual signature of the authorized company official.
