- The United States Army Communications and Electronics Command(CECOM)intends to procure the Overhaul/Repair and Technical Services for the AVR-2 Family of Laser Detecting Sets(LDS)and Laser Detecting Test Sets(LDTS). The Government intends to award a sole source, five(5)year, Time and Materials type of contract. This contract will be issued to Goodrich Corporation, Danbury, Connecticut on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. See Numbered Note 22. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes only and shall not be considered a request for proposal. However, all responsible sources interested in participating in this procurement may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. See Numbered Note 26.
