Description
The is a sources sought synopsis for Air Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) services to be performed in the training areas of Ft. Campbell, KY. The NAICS code is 621910 and the small business size standard is $6 million. Solicitation is unrestricted. M EDEVAC services will consist of MEDEVAC services to be performed within the training areas of Ft. Campbell, KY. Landing zones in the training areas will be unimproved. Ft. Campbell Kentucky is an aircraft rich flight environment. Close coordination with ATC and the Range Division on Ft. Campbell will be required for performance of services. Request for service may be made day or night, seven days a week. Vendors are not required to respond under IFR conditions. Vendors shall comply with all FAA, Federa l, State and Local flight procedures. Aircrew, consisting of Pilots, EMTs and Registered Nurses shall meet all FAA, Federal, and State certification requirements. Aircraft (Helicopters) to be utilized in performance of services shall meet all FAA, Fede ral and State requirements and be certified for design, manufacture and airworthiness. Vendor is also required to carry aircraft public and passenger liability insurance in the amounts of $200,000 per person and $500,000 per occurrence for bodily injury, other than passenger liability, and $200,000 per occurrence for property damage. Wage Determination 1994-2187 and 1995-0317 apply to this requirement. Period of performance is anticipated to be for a twelve month base period and four twelve month option p eriods. Base period of performance is expected to be 1 May 2005  30 Apr 2006. The Government anticipates award of multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements. Only firms having relevant experience performing this type of service will be qualified for this req uirement. Vendors may be paid directly through TRICARE or DFAS Rome, NY or a combination of both. Vendors may be responsible for reporting Contractor Manpower Data Requirements. Prior to award a more detailed Statement of Work will be furnished to awarde es.
