- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to include the requirement for a site visit and extend the response date. The following clause is hereby included in this solicitation: FAR 52.237-1. A site visit will be conducted on April 22, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chesapeake Bay Detachment, Chesapeake Beach, MD. Offerors who plan to attend must submit a request by April 21, 2005, 12:00 p.m. The request can be mailed, faxed, or sent by email to: Naval Research Laboratory, Attn: Code 3230.MS, Site Visit N00173-05-R-MS04, 4555 Overlook Avenue S.W, Washington, D.C. 20375. Fax number, 202-767-6197. The request must contain the following information for each person attending. Name, social security number, citizenship, purpose of visit. Any substitutions/additions to visitor requests must be received 1 business day prior to the site visit. The classification level of the visit is “UNCLASSIFIED”. Questions WILL NOT be answered during the Site Visit. All questions must be submitted in writing at the site visit or by April 21, 2005 via facsimile or email. All attendees must abide by the following to attend the site visit: (a) One form of identification will be required (ie, drivers license). All foreign nationals will be required to show green card. (b) No cameras, cellular telephones with cameras, tape recorders, or other reproduction devices will be allowed. (c) The Government reserves the right to inspect all material, briefcases, etc. when entering or leaving the Government facilities. (d) Each visitor will be required to sign in and out. The response date is revised to April 27, 2005, 4:00 p.m. local time. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-03 and DFARS Change Notice 20050412.
