- Description
- Round Hill Pines building and site demolition involves the demolition of 11-14 buildings, paved paths, concrete slabs, and courts, underground septic or cesspool tanks, and burnt rubble piles. The buildings range from being dilapidated shacks, corrugated metal garages or sheds. All necessary precautions need to be taken to protect remaining buildings on site. To reach the location from South Lake Tahoe, take Lake Tahoe Blvd (Highway 50) east approximately 2 miles past Stateline, Nevada, to Round Hill Pines, an exit to the left across traffic. Continuing through the large entrance gate, drive down to the switchback and straight through the switchback to the site. From Carson City, drive west on Highway 50 over Spooner Summit. Continue in the direction of South Lake Tahoe past Cave Rock, past Zephyr Cove to Round Hill Pines. Continuing throught the large entrance gate, drive down to the switchback and straight through the switchback to the site. There will be a pre-bid meeting at the LTBMU Supervisor's Office. Interested bidders should meet at 35 College Drive, South Lake Tahoe, Ca., March 15, 2005, 10:00 a.m. Contact Krishna Plocher for questions @530-543-2727.
