- The purpose of this notice is to notify potential offerors of EPA's Request for Proposals (RFP) for Region 4 Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START III) requirement. This RFP, amendments, and other information related to this procurement will also be posted on the EPA's Office of Acquisition Management website, at the following address: http://www.epa.gov/oam/srpod/index.htm All information related to this procurement will be available at this link through the date of contract award. The anticipated award date for both contracts is on or around August 18, 2005. Contract award will be made on a best value basis with technical being of greater importance than cost or price. Regardless of the competitive nature of award, each contract awarded must be technically acceptable and meet cost reasonableness standards. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code 562910 applies to this requirement.
