- NAICS Code: 514191 The US EPA is conduction market research for the requirement described herein. This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). This is not a formal solicitation or a request for proposals. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Information Services and Support Branch (ISSB; Office of Environmental Information, Office of Information Collection, Information Exchange and Services Division, Information Services and Support Branch ) is seeking to determine if any commercial businesses are interested in sharing detailed information, and/or pilot testing their products/services as they relate to providing detailed reference information about commercial facilities/institutions located in the United States. In keeping with its mission to protect human health and the environment, EPA regulates or has an interest in the environmental aspects of a wide range of commercial businesses and other institutions across the nation. EPA would like to access commercially available data services so that EPA may better perform a wide range of environmental regulatory functions, such as determining responsible parties for cost recovery, analyzing regulatory impacts to specific industries, targeting enforcement actions, conducting quality comparisons against other data EPA has obtained, and conducting outreach.
