- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to purchase one (1) Jade Mid-Wave Infrared (MWIR) Camera, manufactured by CEDIP Infrared Systems. The North American Industry Classification System code is 443130. The contract shall be firm fixed priced. FOB Destination shall apply. The Request for Quote number is N00178-05-Q-1148. DESCRIPTION: Specifications of this mid-wave infrared camera include: 3-5 um spectral response, 320 x 256 array resolution, 30 um pixel pitch, snap ! shot (simultaneous integration) readout mode, 14-bit dynamic range, greater than 20 mK typical sensitivity, 225 Hz (MCT) 175 Hz (InSb) frame rate - full frame, dynamic - user definable sub-array windowing, 1 us to 10ms integration time, filter wheel accepts four 25 mm OD x 1 mm filters, external TTL synchronization, RS-170 / CCIR video output, video frame buffer included, RS-422 / 14-bit parallel digital output, and closed cycle stirling cooler. Offerors are required to submit a technical proposal, descriptive literature demonstrating their proposed product, and capabilities in meeting these requirements. A commercial price list and previous sales listing should also be provided. The closing date is 25 April 2005 no later than 2:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) to: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: XDS11, Bldg. 183, 17320 Dahlgren Rd., Dahlgren VA 22448-5100. Anticipated award date of 2 May 2005. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
