Description
Any questions regarding this solicitation should be addressed to: Paul Daneker at paul.r.daneker@usace.army.mil. Provide all work required for habitat mitigation at approximately 13 locations, including pioneering access roads to the Green River an d its tributaries from established roads, constructing access roads sufficient for the equipment used, placing logs in stream beds, constructing in water log jams using pile driving and other techniques, and restoring the site after construction. The Howa rd Hanson Dam Fish and Wildlife Mitigation Project is located along approximately 30 miles on the Green River and its tributaries. All construction will be located on lands owned by the City of Tacoma. All project sites are located in the City of Tacoma watershed above the Howard Hanson Dam. Special equipment operating procedures, decontamination, and hydraulic fluids will be required. All work conducted below the ordinary high water line must be completed between August 1 and September 30 2005, which i s also known as the construction window for fish in the Green River. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 with a size standard of $28.5 million. Project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large bus iness and your proposal will exceed $1 million, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan with goals for small, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, small woman-owned, and small veteran-owned concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern i s considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $28.5 million.
