- The U.S. Army Tacom Picatinny intends to solicit for the following commercial items (brand name or equal) to assemble the test-beds required to properly and safely carry out the evaluation of high energy components and is seeking to identify potential sources for the following components: 1. High Voltage Rectifier: Vrrm = 50kV Company: High Voltage Components Associates, Part# 6HV540K; 2. High Voltage Rectifier: Vrrm = 5kV, Max Reverse Recovery Time = 250ns Company: High Voltage Components Associates, Part# HGF5; 3. Washer Resistors: R = 0.325 ohms, Peak Energy = 120k Joules Company: Kanthal-Globar, Part# 918WSR325K; 4. Washer Resistors: R = 0.1 ohms, Peak Energy = 120k Joules Company: Kanthal-Globar, Part# 918WSR325K; 5. Tubular Resistors: R = 60 ohms Resistance Tolerance = 10% Rated Power = 270W Company: Micro-ohm, Part# CE270; 6. Tubular Resistors: R = 30 ohms Resistance Tolerance = 10% Rated Power = 270W Company: Micro-ohm, Part # CE270; 7. Frequency response from 200 kHz to 3.5 GHz. Company: Prodyn Technologies, Part# BIB-100F; 13. Optical Analog Transmission System_1GHz: Optical analog link, shielded enclosure, Frequency = 1 GHz. Company: Nanofast, Part# OP300-2A; 14. Optical Analog Transmission System_Duplex Cable_150ft: Matching differential input module for OP300-2A. Frequency = 1 GHz. Polycarbonate Sheets {1/2 in (T) x 4ft (W) x 8ft(L)}: Thick clear sheet to be used to fabricate protective enclosure for high voltage systems, while giving the operator the ability to visually observe the setup. Company: Freckleface, Part# PC504896. In addition, the contractor shall provide manuals for each piece of equipment. Inspection and acceptance shall be F.O.B. destination. The Statement of Work, evaluation factors and submission instructions should be released on PROCNET with solicitation on or about 6 May 2005. The contractor shall ship items in the specified quantities to a location to be determined as specified by the Government.
