- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation is for the following items: CLIN 0001: Contractor shall provide lease from 1 May 2005 to 30 June 2005 for 8 each 5K forklifts with LP-gas powered engine for Indo or/Outdoor usage; solid tires; propane power; 3 stage vista mast height; minimum 189-inches lift height. Contractor shall be responsible for tire repair/replacement, vehicle repair within 24 hours of call in, vehicle replacement within 24 hours. Servicin g must be accomplished during normal duty hours. Price shall include delivery/pickup charges to Ft. Carson, CO. CLIN 0002: Contractor shall provide lease from 1 May 2005 to 30 June 2005 for 2 each 6K forklifts with LP-gas powered engine. Indoor/outdoor usage; solid tires; propane power; 3-stage vista mast height: minimum of 189-inches lift height. Contractor shall be responsible for tire repair/replacement, vehicle repair within 24 hours of call in, vehicle replacement within 24 hours. Servicing must b e accomplished during normal duty hours. Price shall include deliver/pickup charges to Ft. Carson, CO. CLIN 0003: Contractor shall provide lease from 1 May 2005 to 30 June 2005 for 2 each 10K forklifts Diesel engine Perkins 1004-42, 4 liter 243 cubic inc hes, 83 horsepower at 2400 RPM. 134-inch maximum fork height, 108-inch overall height lowered, 54-inch pallet forks. Side shifting, fork positioner, 14,400 lb capacity with attachment. 2-speed power shift transmission, 2 forward work lights, 1 rear work light, brake and taillights, left/right turn signals. Amber strobe warning light, reverse activated backup alarm, side view mirrors. Shall include 5 position tilt steering column and adjustable vinyl covered bucket seat with operators hip restraints and adjustable retracting seat belt with warning light. Instrument panel should contain an hour meter, fuel gauge, and warning lights for alternator, engine oil pressure, transmission oil temperature and glow plug lamp. Two-stage air cleaner with outside ai r intake hydrostatic steering, brake and inching brake. Anti-restart key switch, return to neutral warning buzzer, cowl mounted parking brake lever. CLIN 0004: This is a Priced Not to Exceed (NTE) line item, no quote is necessary for this CLIN. Contract or shall not exceed $4,500.00 for propane for the period of 1 May 2005 to 30 June 2005 without the authorization of the Contracting Officer. The Government will not be liable for any amounts in excess of the NTE amount without this authorization. CLIN 00 05: Contractor shall provide lease from 1 May 2005 to 30 June 2005 for 4 each pallet jacks. CLIN 0006: Contractor shall provide lease from 1 May 2005 to 30 June 2005 for 14 each dolly hand trucks. Award shall be made only to contractors who have registered with the Central Contractor Registration at http://www.ccr.gov The following provisions in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) apply to this acquisition to include any addenda to the provision. This solicitation incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in ful l text. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, will be used to evaluate quotes. The following factor shall be used to evaluate offers: price and delivery time.
