- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and reserved strictly for small business. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is F2VV695094A100. The 6TH Contracting Office, MacDill AFB, Tampa, Florida, requires the following hard drives and USB PS2 adapters: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN 0001), 200 each, Western Digital 80.0 GIG IDE Hard Drives (7200 rpm) (part number WD800BB) or equivalent; CLIN 0002, 50 each, USB to PS2 adapters for keyboard/mouse (part number GUC10KM) or equivalent; CLIN 0003, 50 each, Maxtor 80GB Serial Sata/150 HDD 7200 Quiet 8MB Cache (part number 6Y080M0) or equivalent; CLIN 0004, 200 each, Toshiba MK4025GAS 40GB HD IDE, Ultra DMA 133, 4200 RPM (part number HDD2190) or equivalent. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334613. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3577 with a small business size of 1,000 employees. A Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded. DESCRIPTION: The work covered by this contract consists of, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all parts, labor, services, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to provide the four items listed above, in their respective quantities. Please brake out pricing by CLIN, Quantity, Unit Price and Extended Price. Destination. The following FAR clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated in full text. The following Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) clause applies to this solicitation and is incorporated in full text: DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms And Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders Applicable To Defense Acquisitions Of Commercial Items. The offeror shall provide its DUNS, or if applicable its DUNS + 4 number with its offer, which will be used by the Contracting Officer to verify that an offeror is registered in the CCR database. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. The date and time responses are due is 25 April 2005, 4:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.
