- Description
- This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation for the purchase of 10 each RF Mixers, double balanced, NSN 5895-01-528-7708EW, P/N 202925-303, applicable to the AN/ALQ-131. Basic quantity of 10, with two Option periods, with each period having quantities ranging from 1 ? 5. Delivery schedule: three each ASAP, and one per month for the remaining items. Destination information: FB2065, Robins AFB, GA. The approximate solicitation issue date is April 29, 2005, with the approximate response date of May 29, 2005. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Spectrum Microwave Inc., CAGE code 55027, 2144 Franklin Drive, N.E., Palm Bay, FL, 32905, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. See Notes 22 & 26. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 30 days of the synopsis publication date. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Late responses will not be accepted.
