- This synopsis/solicitation replaces Reference number FE206743360060, that was posted 17 Feb 05. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Sole Source to BH Thermal (BriskHeat). Quotes for equal systems will be considered; however, enough information (ie, product specs or brochures) should be provided for evaluation purposes. The purchase and installation of 5 each Temperature and Data Collection Systems to be installed on 6 ovens (2 ovens will share a system). Ovens Make/Model: Gruenberg Model KT65C240, Ercon Ind Sys Model 5149-0-500 (2 ea ? will share one system), Epcon Model E6148E500, Infratrol Model OV-7289E1V1F07 (2 each). Only quotes for new equipment will be considered. Prices shall be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). Product Specifications: The supplied system shall be a Windows based data collection system. Data collected will be temperature and time, by asset. The temperature range of each oven is 0 to 400 degrees F; nominal 250 degrees F. Oven walls range from 4? to 6?. The system shall incorporate data logging and graphical ability. The data will be supplied in an MS Excel format. System shall support up to 48 data channels. It shall include all computer equipment, software, thermocouples, jacks and wiring, and installation thereof. The following clauses are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -Jan 05; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items - Jan 05; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items; and 52-212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items; DFARS 252.212-7000, and DFARS 252.211-7003 Item Identification and Valuation, Jan 04. In accordance with Clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be price and price related factors. In accordance with FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Reps and Certs should be completed on line at http://orca.bpn.gov. Oral procedures will be used for this solicitation.
