- Draft Request for Proposals (RFP) + Virtual Industry Day. In March 2005, the Air Force Medical Service Commodity Council (AFMSCC) issued a Pre-Solicitation Notice expressing our intent to procure clinical support services in military medical treatment facilities at geographically-disperse Air Force bases throughout the United States. The draft Request for Proposals (RFP) is now available in electronic format. All comments related to this acquisition should be directed to the Contracting Officer, Joe Boudreau, Joseph.Boudreau@wpafb.af.mil, 937-904-5028. The AFMSCC is requesting industry comments on the draft RFP and related documents during a Virtual Industry Day to be held on April 21, 2005, beginning at 10:30 a.m. eastern time. Companies interested in participating in the Virtual Industry Day should e-mail the following information to Clarinda.Smith@wpafb.af.mil by April 20, 2005: Company Name, Point of Contact (Name, e-mail and telephone number), and name you will use in the Virtual Industry Day "chat-room". You will be provided with a facilitate.com web site location, user ID and password for Virtual Industry Day participation. The draft documents will be discussed during the Virtual Industry Day in the following sequence: 1-Services to be provided (RFP Sections C and J); 2-Contract clauses (RFP Sections H, I and K); 3- Pricing (RFP Section B, Table 1 and Economic Price Adjustment 52.216-4); 4- Minimum Order (Table 2); 5-Workload Estimates (Table 3);6-Proposal submittal and evaluation (RFP Sections L and M). Prior to the conclusion of the Virtual Industry Day session, we will ask for input as to whether prospective offerors believe an in-person pre-proposal conference after release of the final RFP would be beneficial.
