- Description
- Eglin AFB, FL has a requirement for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Repair and Replace Roofs, Miscellaneous Base Buildings. THIS IS A ?TRADE-OFF? (PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE-OFF) ACQUISITION. Award will be made based upon the ?Best Value? to the Government in accordance with Far 15.3. The government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest priced offeror. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, and materials and performing all operations in connection with Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price Repair and Replace Roofs, Miscellaneous Base Buildings, Eglin AFB, Fl. In general, the work will consist of removal and disposition of existing roofing (and related deteriorated sheet metalwork and carpentry items) including mineral surface selvage edge roll roofing, mineral surface asphalt strip shingle roofing, built up roofing, standing seam metal roofing, and sheet metal roofing, replacement of these type roofing with the same types of roofing as applicable or with fiberglass strip shingles and rolled roofing where designated. Repair and/or replacement of existing deteriorated wood fascia, roof framing, roof sheathing and decking, steel roof deck, and other items of carpentry work used in conjunction with roofing and all work incidental thereto; all in accordance with the specification. The work is located at Eglin AFB, FL. Estimated dollar range is more than $10,000,000.00. This solicitation is a competitive set-aside for 8(a) firms certified through the SBA. Performance period will be a One-year basic plus Four One-year Options. The NAICS code is 238160 with a size of standard of $12M. All contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as perscribed in DFARS 252.204-7004. Registration must be obtained prior to award. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued but the Request for proposal will be available on the Federal Government?s Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov). The solicitation will be available for viewing and downloading on or about 31 May 2005. No response to this notice is necessary, and no source list will be maintained.
