- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared per the format in Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 2072-503H72-2 is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The following Provisions and Clauses are incorporated into this RFQ by reference. No addenda apply to these Provisions and Clauses. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications ? Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, FAR 52-212-5, Contract Terms and conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. No additional FAR clauses apply. The Government intends to award a firm, fixed price contract for the following communication equipment. The American Embassy/Haiti has a requirement for 80 each Motorola 764-870 MHz Astro Digital XTS1500 Model H66UCC9PW5-N Portable Radios or equal with option (a) Q575 ENH: Trunking 3600 Baud Software and option (b) H885 ENH: Two (2) Year Express Service Plus Service Agreement. Additionally, 80 each 764-870 MHz Base Stations consisting of Motorola?s XTL5000 Model M20URS9PW1-N Mobile Transceiver or equal with the following options: (a) G806 ENH: Software Astro Digital CAI operation, (b) G48 ENH: Conventional Operation, (c) G73 ADD: W4 Control Head, (d) G93 ADD: W4 Control Head Software, (e) W665 ADD: Control Station Operation, (f) G66 ADD: Dash Mount, (g) G89 ADD: No Antenna Needed, (h) W22 ADD: Palm Microphone, (i) G142 ADD: No Speaker ? Control Station includes Speaker, (j) G24 ADD: Enhanced Two (2) year Express Service Plus Service Agreement. Radios provided must be compatible with Motorola?s signaling/trunking protocols. Delivery: As soon as Possible but not later than 60 days ARO if possible. Pricing to be quoted FOB US Despatch Agent, Miami, Florida. THE SOLICITATION IS CONTAINED IN THIS NOTICE. NO OTHER SOLICITATION WILL BE PROVIDED. ALL OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED. Offerors must provide a completed SF 1449 and completed Representations and Certifications per FAR 52.212-3 with their quote. The Government will make one award from this synopsis/solicitation. Award will be made to the offeror who provides the best value to the Government to include price and proposed delivery date.
