- The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is seeking Hotel Accommodations, Conference Space, Meals and Audio/Visual equipment located in the Orlando, Florida area, within twenty miles of the Orlando International Airport. (This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services). The Period of Performance for this requirement is June 12-15, 2005 and June 14-17, 2005. Written quotations will be required. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, National Institute of Corrections is sponsoring two training conferences on the topic of "Effectively Managing the Multi-Generational Workforce." The hotel must accommodate 24 sleeping rooms for each session and block an additional 8 lodging rooms for staff, lodging rates must be equal to or less than, the Government Per Diem rate of $98.00. Hotel accommodations and conference must be on the same locale. The hotel facility must be compliant with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (Public Law 101-336) (42 U.S.C. 12101 et. Seq.) and be approved on the U.S. Fire Administration Hotel and Motel National Master List at http://www.usfa.fema.gov/hotel/search.cfm . All responsible sources that can meet and provide the requirements as listed in the solicitation may respond by submitting information as requested in the solicitation. For a quote submitted by a quoter that is not a hotel, the quoter, not the hotel, is to be considered the prime contractor. Solicitation posting will be April 19 or 20, 2005.
