- Outpatient and Inpatient alcohol/substance abuse treatment for American Indians and Alaska Natives in the Honolulu, HI urban area. The major focus of this RFP is for Case Management of alcoholism/substance abuse treatment services, including cost effective medical and preventive screening for the maximum use of health care resources. The Case Manager will utilize existing culturally appropriate health care resources in the local are or regional substance abuse treatment facility , as appropriate to the patient need(s). This acquisition is being set aside for American Indian and Alaska Native organizations operating in the Oahu, HI area in accordance with the Buy Indian Act. Requests for the RFP must provide documentation showing eligibility pursuant to the Buy Indian Act. Such documentation must detail ownership/control of the organization with documents form either a Federally Recognized Indian Tribe or the Bureau of Indian Affairs showing that the organization is Indian owned and controlled. The request must also show the qualifications of the organization, documenting their provision of similar services in the Honolulu area. Request for the RFP must be received in the Contracting Office no later than May 10, 2005.
