Description

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Midwest Area, National Center for Agriculture Utilization Research, Peoria, IL has a requirement for air, argon, carbon dioxide, helium, hydrogen, nitrogen, and oxygen cylinders. Solicitation No. 5114-5-0400 will be posted as a Request for Proposal (RFB) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-02. This solicitation is unrestricted, full and open competition. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 325120. For a company to qualify as a small business, the small business standard is 1000 employees. The solicitation is scheduled for posting on or about April 25, 2005 on the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check the website for the solicitation, as well as any amendments that may arise. All responsible and qualified sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the agency. Proposals will be due by 2:00 PM on May 25, 2005. A firm-fixed price indefinite quantity contract will be awarded FOR A BASE AND FOUR OPTION YEARS.
