- See Numbered Note 22. The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Christie Digital Systems USA, Inc., 10550 Camden Drive, Cypress, CA 90630. The proposed contract action is for a Customized Display Module Optics Structure Components. This structure includes the following: Geo Correction Mirror System for correcting lens and / or mirror distortions, Trapezoidal Mirror 3-Point mount, 94% Reflective first surface glass mirror, Reflex II Screen Can Assembly that holds each screen flat and allows for expansion and contraction of screen with changes in temperature and humidity (image gap < 1mm). Each module must include a virtually frameless rigid screen and a fully adjustable, folded-optics mirror system, to minimize its operational depth. The complete modules have been designed to integrate these display components into a mobile, collapsible frame to allow repositioning in a variety of multi-screen display configurations including a 12 module 360 degree wrap around screen. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received (quote with product specifications) will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This procurement shall be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures; NAICS 334310.
