- The Kansas City Commodity Office (KCCO), Farm Service Agency, U.S. Department of Agriculture is a buyer of truck lots of food commodities for various domestic feeding programs. All contractors interested in offering commodities shall comply with KCCO?s qualification requirements as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 9.202(f). The qualification requirements are available at: http://www.fsa.usda.gov/daco/VendorQualifications/QualificationRequirements.htm. For Grain and Miscellaneous Processed Food Products: http://www.fsa.usda.gov/daco/Announcement/Domestic/domesticannon.htm Vegetable Oil Products (VP): Mayonnaise and salad dressing shall comply with the requirements of Commercial Item Description A-A-20140B (June 24, 1993) for salad dressings, reduced calorie salad dressings and fat free salad dressings (mayonnaise type), except those requirements for packaging, labeling, and markings, and as may be specified in the Government?s invitation. Pack size is 4/1 gallon bottles. The product must have a shelf life of at least one year from date of manufacturer. Product shall not be manufactured more than 30 days prior to shipping.
