- The Kansas City Commodity Office (KCCO), Farm Service Agency, U.S. Department of Agriculture is a buyer of truck lots of food commodities for various domestic feeding programs. Additional information about the programs and/or submitting offers on commodities is available at: http://www.fsa.usda.gov/daco/default.htm. All contractors interested in offering commodities shall comply with KCCO?s qualification requirements as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 9.202(f). The qualification requirements are available at: http://www.fsa.usda.gov/daco/VendorQualifications/QualificationRequirements.htm. The following commodity, which is classified by NAICS code 311821, is purchased by KCCO. Purchases for Domestic Feeding Programs For Grain and Miscellaneous Processed Food Products: http://www.fsa.usda.gov/daco/Announcement/Domestic/domesticannon.htm Crackers (Saltine) (CR): The commodity delivered shall meet the requirements as specified in the Crackers, Type II, Saltine, Style A, Plain, Commercial Item Descriptions A-A-20286 (June 15, 1998). The product must have a shelf life of at least six (6) months from date of manufacturer. Product shall not be manufactured more than 30 days prior to shipping.
