Description
This is a ?Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), Glynco, GA for the purpose of conducting market research on distributed or web-based applications that will be used by the FLETC to administer the organization?s accreditation process. Funding is not available at this time, but the FLETC Accreditation office wishes to obtain information for the purpose of identifying applications or systems that have the capability of automatically tracking an accreditation process. The FLETC has over eighty (80) Partner Organizations, of which twenty-five (25) maintain individual law enforcement academies, such as United States Secret Service, Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and United States Marshals at FLETC?s training sites. Therefore, the accreditation process will need to be viewed via individual or academy specific requirements/standards. Furthermore, the system should be able to store, retrieve, sort, query and generate reports for the purpose of tracking the organization?s progress towards accreditation. The system?s reporting requirements should include at a minimum, tracking and reporting standards that are in compliance, non-compliance, have waivers, or require corrective action before accreditation can be awarded. The law enforcement accreditation process requires reaccreditation every three years post the initial accreditation, therefore the system must be able to identify, track, and report those programs requiring re-accreditation. Descriptive literature and/or websites should be provided concerning the product. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT AND THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Send information to DHS, FLETC, 1131 Chapel Crossing Road, ATTN: Cynthia D. Bartosh, Procurement Division, Building 93, Glynco, GA 31524.
