- Description
- The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified and interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) with experience relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 488190 (size standard is $6,000,000.00 in annual gross receipts). This acquisition will be a competitive SDVOSB set aside. We are requesting all interested and qualified firms to respond to this sources sought notice with the following information: (1) name, address, phone, fax, email and website if applicable; (2) a list (not to exceed 5) of similar contracts your firm currently holds or has completed within the last three years. The lists of relevant contracts should include the location, contract number, description, estimated yearly value, performance dates, and Government point(s) of contact (contracting officer and qualify assurance personnel/inspector) with phone and fax numbers; and (3) any other information you feel would indicate your capability to mobilize, manage and finance a large service contract such as this. Personnel and facility will have a secret security clearance. Please limit your responses to 5 pages. This information must be faxed to (850) 283-3963 to the attention of Jenetta Langston or emailed to jenetta.langston@tyndall.af.mil by 2 May 2005. This contract will be a firm fixed price type contract and will require the contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, materials, supervision and other items necessary to establish and operate transient aircraft services at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. Transient aircraft services include, but are not limited to recovery, servicing, inspection, maintenance and launching of aircraft in accordance with Air Force Technical Orders identified in the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall establish maintenance management and control system in accordance with the quality standards and within the timelines established by the SOW. The contractor shall establish and operate a tool accountability system and land mobile radio programs to meet the objective of Air Force Instructions, Air Education Training Command Instructions, and Tyndall Air Force Base directives. The contract period shall consist of one (1) basic year plus (4) option years. This sources sought notice shall not be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Any information provided to the Government is strictly voluntary and at no costs to the Government. A formal solicitation will be announced separately.
